Spring is in full swing, and after a long, snowy winter, our gardens are finally beginning to bloom! Whether you lean towards a formal look like boxwood hedges, a rustic farm vibe, an earthy herb garden or a more traditional English-style, all gardens are simply beautiful. Here are a few of my favorites to spark some inspiration as you get ready to plant this season’s blooms.

Designer Bunny Williams is known for her dreamy outdoor spaces. I love her informal garden for its rustic authenticity. The adjacent board and batten barn is a charming architectural complement to the eclectic garden.

Jewelry designer Elizabeth Locke’s stunning garden is exactly that - stunning. Perfectly manicured boxwoods and potted lemon trees framed by a brick herringbone walking path are as classic as they come.

Another look I love from Bunny Williams is her terra cotta planter boxwoods. If you’re limited on space or simply prefer a more intentional aesthetic, planters are the perfect solution. Here, she has lined a beautiful path with greenery in a similar style, making for a uniform yet still very stylish look.

I’m just not sure there is anything more beautiful in an outdoor space than hydrangeas. I love them in any and every color - blue, white, green, pink. They’re such a lush, classic and lovely flower and I look forward to them blooming each and every year.
